CHRISTMAS ON EARTH

Time and again Christmas 2009 is just around the corner . Christmas lights and lanterns and other Christmas decorations are seen everywhere reminding everyone of the birth of Christ.

During Christmas, people usually exchanging gifts, greeting each other "Merry Christmas" and some send Christmas cards to celebrate Christmas. At dawn time they got to the church to hear and attend the misa de gallo. Many believe that if you are are always attending the misa de gallo your wishes will be granted. Of course Christmas will not be completed without those delicious and fresh fruits and any food serve on the table.

Christmas is often associated wiht a Christmas Tree. People are fond of decorating different stuffs on their Christmas Tree to become beautiful. As I glance at these Christmas decorations I coined 3 wishes this coming Christmas. My first wish is WORLD PEACE. May the Child Jesus bestow upon us all peace and contentment. May all of us strive to clean our heart and do good things not only on Christmas Day but throughout our life. On the other hand I wish for health for the members of my family. I firmly believe in the saying "Health is Wealt." My 3rd wish is something it could not be revealed. These are my wishes this year. I hope and pray that Jesus will not fail me.

In some books they say that Christmas Tree is a symbol of Christ giving His life for His love for the humankind. Rich or poor, young or old, everyone must know the TRUE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS on earth not in the other planets. That Christmnas is all about giving, sharing and most of all loving one another just like the love of Jesus to the humankind . Ho!Ho!Ho! Merry Chrismas. Here comes Santa Claus...........

November Issues

November, the 11th month of the year. Some of its important days include the All Saints' Day, All Souls' Day and others. Filipinos usually go to the cemetery to visit the tombs of their love ones. Some offer flowers and light candles while others only light candles because flowers are too expensive nowadays and most of all thay pray for the soul of their departed love ones...

Back to school whenever November comes they are celebrating the Filipino Values Month. The theme of the said event was "Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon." The Values Department held some activities for the event like kite flying, cookfest, Tagis Talino, poster slogan contest and sayawit. The most interesting activity was the morning trivia every morning of Monday, Tuesday and Friday.. The students participated well in the said event.

These are some of the happenings I remmember during the month of November. Well of course November is the month when I was born.

Second Grading Period is now over yet it's time to summarized all the learnings I have acquired during the period. Looking back to those crazy tags that was the main topic for this grading.....It is indeed an amazing topic that we have learned. At first I am hard up typing the symbols for every tag turning your head a hundred times back to the board where the activity was written. Well of course our as days pass by Im already used to type the different tags and it is all due to the effective teachinng of our great and talented teacher. Someday I will owe to her all the knowledge,skills and interest I have acquired and learned in TLE.

CLEAR and SHARP

It was three years ago in our class when I met a teacher of mine. It was the first day of classes when she introduced herself to us and oriented us with her likes and dislikes inside the classroom.

As the days went by she would begin her class with a pleasant good morning, a faint smile in her face as she looked around the room. We, her students, were a little bit unruly before the entrance but the moment she pulled her chair out, sat down and check our attendance everyone kept quite and became attentive.

One time I failed to hand in my project on time. She listened to my explanation. She had a standard way of dealing with explanations for unfinished work. She was invariably polite and motherly in her ways. She would say, "Okay, try to hand in it next time, won;t you."

Another day, three of us were late from her class. She did'nt scold them but instead she told them not to be late anymore. From that time on no one of us was late from class. I valued her teachings every meeting. I learned a lot from the interesting learing experiences she shared us. No minute was left for us for monkey business inside the classroom. All of us were enjoying our activities everytime we met her inside our classroom.

In spite of the fact that memories of my first year in high school have, for the most blurred and difficult part her image remains with me, clear and sharp- my teacher, my hero.

Marvelous Science

Man trough the years has always asked questions about the things around him and has discovered answers to these questions. Rev up your mind what is the true sense of Science. Today, we are living in a land of endless contrivance of products of creative imagination. Versatility towards various Science culture has made the horse transformed to a car and the car to have wings to fly in the sky, an airplane was invented and after all a rocket that went to the universe to explore the undiscovered things.

Science is amazing. It has many contributions that make our life worth it

English, Spanish, Frances, Esperanto these are some of the languages being used by people in other countries. Language is the foremost means of communication to understand one another. The national language of the Philippines is the Filipino Language, but when and where did it really start.

Manuel L. Quezon is the "Ama ng Wikang Filipino". He was born in Baler Quezon. He once became the President of the Philippines. He unified the people of the country by one language, the Filipino language. In this tactic, he thought that the country will attain its peace and unity. We Filipinos have the natural desire to speak in our own language. In spite of the so many different dialects that people using in different places like Ilocano in Ilocos Sur, Pampangaeno in Pampangga, Kankanae, Ibanag, Bisaya and many more we can still understand one another by using the Filipino language. A person who understands each other has harmony and cohesion thereby promoting international brotherhood and camaraderie.

In Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao wherever we may go if we know how to speak the Filipino language and understand one another we can be as one through progress.

Reflection

"Learning or gaining knowledge is the key for our dazzling smiles in the future...!"

Learning enable learners to make better and more adequate reactions, responses and adjustments to new situations and conditions.

The T.L.E subject is a very important subject especially to us, high school students. It helps us understand the world of technology and be able to cope or get on with the technology we are right now. A warm applause to our teacher, for teaching us the different concepts and many more about T.L.E. For just a couple of months we learned a lot from her. Bravo Muchas Gracias! It's a great help to us students to know all of those we have learned in the past weeks. Being able to know and try to surf the internet and explore different things about it, is very fabulous and exciting, of course. To all our teachers thank you also, for your patience and support just to teach us everyday and share what you know to us. Last August 13 and 14 was our periodical test in all subjects. Our examination was very thrilling. But then it's really hard. After the exams, all I did was to sit and relax my mind so that I'll be ready for Monday.

Once again thank you to all our mentors for doing all your best to teach us so that someday, somehow we'll reach the ladder of success and for sure we will never forget all the things you taught us.

English Language: Dominates the World's Communication

English is a world language. It is a native language of more or less a hundred million people and a second language of some people including the Filipinos. English is an awesome language filled with word that mingles into one another. It has its own music. It is used as a medium of instruction at all levels.It is also used for political communications and for personal communication in other countries.

A person who knows how to speak English can go anywhere in the world. He can communicate easily with people and better understood by them. People who understand one another has cohesion, harmony and better camaraderie thereby promoting international brotherhood.

We have to know how to speak English. English communication is important as an instrument in the improvement and headway of a country.

WASTONG NUTRISIYON KAILANGAN, LIFESTYLE DISEASES IWASAN

Good health is impossible without good nutrition. Most sick people today have food related problems. Wether or not you find pleasure in eating food, the fact still remains that food is the basic need of the human body.

Foods maybe abused or misused and this may result to some diseases. Many people are suffereing a lot of health problems nowadays. Some of this diseases are curable but some of them may cause people to death. This is due to the bad lifestyle and eating habits of people. In order to avoid this diseases one must be haelth concious person. He needs to eat the right kind of food. Such foods that are nurtritiuos like fruits, green leafy vegetables, fibers and others. Eating a balance diet, having a balanced diet is very important to one's health. It provides the body complete nutrients as well as vitamins, minerals, proteins and others thet is needed by the body in normal proportion. He needs to take daily food allowances in three regular meals with breakfast as the heaviest, lunch as medium and supper the heaviest. He must have a self-discipline and wise in choosing his food too. Doing all this things is greaty help to make oneself healthy and free from diseases as a way to better healthier lifestyle.

Health is wealth. Being a healthy individual is one thing should everybody must consider. Such ways of being healthy is having a good and satisfying lifestyle.
